In struggling to heal from trauma, we often revert to our initial feelings of “it’s not fair”. While the sentiment is true, it will do nothing to progress our healing. That is yet another burden that has been laid at our feet. Still, just as with the initial trauma, we will overcome. It will not be easy. There will be days when we don’t want to utilize coping skills or emotional intelligence. We will want to scream, curse, and cry. I’m here to tell you that I will walk with you through those days as well. While you are responsible for your healing and have to do the work yourself, you will not go through this alone. Together, we will turn trauma to triumph.
